Pressure and House Washing
Pressure washing can be an easy, cost-effective way to clean and protect your home's exterior.
Over time the exterior of your home or business builds up a layer of grime from blowing rain, dirt, cobwebs, bugs and Atlanta 's specialty, pollen. Vinyl siding, painted wood siding and stucco can all be safely and effectively cleaned by a type of pressure washing called House Washing, a low-pressure procedure using a special house-washing solution.
We use professional-grade equipment at up to 4,000 psi to power away mold, mildew, algae, grease, and dirt from brick, wood, concrete, asphalt, stucco, tile, and other hard surfaces.
How does pressure washing work?
There are 3 basic elements of the power washing process regardless of what machine or method is used:
- pressure,
- water flow rate,and
- cleaning solution.
We use a combination of low and high pressure depending on the surface and the material to remove. No two jobs are alike

Houses will generally be washed with low pressure, letting the cleaning solution do most of the work. Tougher areas might require a different combination of these to get a specific area or material clean.
On concrete pads, or other more durable bases, we'll use a higher pressure to remove stains s well as mold, mildew, algae, grease, and dirt that accumulates.

Mr. Clean & Shine recently cleaned our windows, gutters and outside wood trim. They did an excellent job. The owner, Steve Langell was highly professional and was prompt in managing the job. His service personnel were equally professional and careful when completing the work inside our home. We will use them next year and plan to refer them to others. They are a First Class company.
